Dominican Rep.

  • The Dominican Republic

We have taken on the primary responsibility for the operation of a medical clinic in the Dominican village of Villa Esperanza, a community of Haitian refugees located in the hills above Puerta Plata. This village has also been the base of operations for a number of short-term Missions teams.

Trips typically last one week and include participating in the building of a new, small, cement-block family home for the village as well as numerous compassionate ministry outings. Trips have included feeding programs, sports clinics and school repairs. Our next planned trip to the D.R. is in the planning stages for March of 2012.
